Foxy21 Gel Polish!*

*This post contains items which have been provided in exchange for an honest review. Within this post, these items are any "Foxy21 Gel Polishes" mentioned.

Hey guys!
Long time no see, but welcome to any new readers, or welcome back to any returning ones. I have a pretty cool post to set you all up for some more exciting things to come, so I'll just skip straight in.

Introducing to you, a new brand of UV & LED Gel polish, known as "Foxy21". The prices and website are still currently being finalised, but as soon as I know how much the polishes are and where they can be purchased from, I'll update this post here to let you know!
As seen in above, the bottles are a professional looking gold, and also surprisingly light in comparison to those of OPI and Morgan Taylor (a definite bonus when trying to paint and hold a bottle in the same hand). I was lucky enough to be provided with a base coat, top coat, bright red polish, dusky pink polish, black polish, and the feature of today - a magnetic thermal silver-pink polish which has been deemed a "Chameleon Cat-Eye Gel Polish".

This gel polish then is a dusty-pink colour when cold, and a super pretty silver colour when hot. I'm generally pretty warm all the time, so this was the colour of my nails the majority of the time and that is a-okay by me! The polish itself is super shiny, and with the help of the magnet, a stripe appears in the polish that looks like reflections of a 'cat eye'.

The 'cat eye' stripe even follows the light as it moves, which is not only super pretty but also quite entertaining. A really nice shimmer can also be seen in the polish, with some holographic tendencies!

In the images above you can see a bit of the transition from silver to pink. It's a really smooth transitional effect that takes place, and the magnetic part can be seen in both colours too.

And there's the full pink effect for you! (Note that my hands are wet in these images as I was using cold water to speed up the temperature effect).

Aside from this colour, I also tried out the black polish though unfortunately didn't get any pictures of it. The gels lasted really well, and didn't take too long to apply either. The formula was really nice - not too thick like some gel polishes can be, but also not too thin that it just runs everywhere before you get a chance to cure it. As I'm an impatient person though I'd recommend using an LED light if you can, just as it is a lot quicker than using UV to cure it.
I cured these for 3 minutes per coat (my UV lamp isn't that great), and they lasted perfectly with no lifting or peeling, until I had to take them off for work this morning, so I definitely have no bad things to say about this brand of polish!

From what I understand from my contact with the brand, the polishes won't be that expensive, and there was a lot of colour choice already being discussed, including many versions of the cat-eye chameleon polish seen here as well as many normal gel colours.

I'll keep you updated with this brand in the mean time, so keep your eyes peeled on the blog for links and prices! See you later in the week too, as I have some more swatches to show you all.

Hope you have a great week!

The Random Sunday Post!

Hello everyone! This is a super quick random post just to say I'm back and also what will be coming up this week! So, I'm still due a Blue Nails post for the British Nail Blogger's Colour Me Crazy Challenge- this will be up tomorrow instead of a Book/Lifestyle post! From Wednesday, the normal posts will resume, so you can expect a Pink Mani on this day for this week's challenge nails! Then on Thursday, it's A Level results day, which means a lot of nervous stressy things to sort out, and I may not have time to write up a post in time for Friday- but I will definitely try, and also update you all in my potential University place! If there is a post on Friday, it'll be a typical naily post- probably a swatch of something! And that is all I think you need to know! Good Luck to anyone else getting results on Thursday! ~Rachel

Wail: Birthday Blue!

Hi everyone! So it was my 18th birthday yesterday, hence why this post is a little late! But I have a fun post for you all to enjoy :) Introducing to you- my birthday mani! I love love love these polishes- I think I've only used them once each, but wow, they're just amazing and I definitely need to use them more. Apologies for the little bit of tip-wear, it's been on since Saturday (so, 5 days between application and the picture taking!) so the wear on these polishes is actually very good! The first polish is Rimmel London's Salon Pro by Kate, in the shade "Britpop" which is such a fun name! The colour is also absolutely stunning, it's such a rich blue, but is kinda bright at the same time and a borderline dark teal colour. The brush for application is also pretty wide, which makes coverage super easy in only one to two strokes! There's another bonus too- the polish is very shiny even before a top coat! Totally recommend this polish, a

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!
