Life Update!

Hello!

So, first of all, my apologies to anyone who's been popping by in hope of new content in the past couple of weeks! I've been a bit awol as I'm sure you can tell, and needed a bit of a break from life really, I guess.
All in all though things are good, and I have good news and bad news for you!

First of all, the bad news, I'm going to be away for 3 weeks from mid-July, so posts will definitely not be regular and may not even be there at all. So that's your warning. Second of all on the negative front is that I don't plan to do any nail art, unless it's quick/easy or just decals/wraps. I've lost my mojo somewhere (if you find it, do feel free to send it back!).

Now to cheer you all up from that, let's have some good news! I'm planning to post plenty of swatches (aiming for 3 a week) on the run up to going away, and also maybe scheduling some posts for you for while I'm away. I've also made up a nail polish book for myself, which I will hopefully show you very soon. While I'm away I hope to add in some travel posts too, and will be more active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Your best bet of catching me is probably Twitter! :)
Finally, I've just bought a lovely new Kindle and that (hopefully) means books, books and more books. I might even throw in some TV show picks for you all.

Other than all that, I've been tidying up since moving back home and having a catch-up with friends and people, and have started (attempting) to learn Spanish... Hola! I've also been planning to update the site's design since like forever but I keep getting frustrated with it. Soon though, I promise!

Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well too, and I can't wait to update you nail-wise this week, and hopefully with a nice new layout.

Sorry again for going poof on you all for a bit!

The Random Sunday Post!

Hello everyone! This is a super quick random post just to say I'm back and also what will be coming up this week! So, I'm still due a Blue Nails post for the British Nail Blogger's Colour Me Crazy Challenge- this will be up tomorrow instead of a Book/Lifestyle post! From Wednesday, the normal posts will resume, so you can expect a Pink Mani on this day for this week's challenge nails! Then on Thursday, it's A Level results day, which means a lot of nervous stressy things to sort out, and I may not have time to write up a post in time for Friday- but I will definitely try, and also update you all in my potential University place! If there is a post on Friday, it'll be a typical naily post- probably a swatch of something! And that is all I think you need to know! Good Luck to anyone else getting results on Thursday! ~Rachel

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

Wail: Birthday Blue!

Hi everyone! So it was my 18th birthday yesterday, hence why this post is a little late! But I have a fun post for you all to enjoy :) Introducing to you- my birthday mani! I love love love these polishes- I think I've only used them once each, but wow, they're just amazing and I definitely need to use them more. Apologies for the little bit of tip-wear, it's been on since Saturday (so, 5 days between application and the picture taking!) so the wear on these polishes is actually very good! The first polish is Rimmel London's Salon Pro by Kate, in the shade "Britpop" which is such a fun name! The colour is also absolutely stunning, it's such a rich blue, but is kinda bright at the same time and a borderline dark teal colour. The brush for application is also pretty wide, which makes coverage super easy in only one to two strokes! There's another bonus too- the polish is very shiny even before a top coat! Totally recommend this polish, a
