Shades: Birthstone Colour

Hey everyone,

So, my birthstone is peridot and I hate it so much! It's just such an ew-y colour! :(
Besides that, I actually have a colour that matches it! Barry M Gelly in Key Lime (wow I'm loving the Gelly colours right now, aren't I?). It's a bit of a strange colour so I wanted to spruce it up a bit, so I did with a few peridot-coloured gems.

Enough talk anyway, on with the pictures!

SPARKLES, YAY! :D
Now, there's an easy little no-glue trick to sticking on your gems here, and you can pop right over to here if you want to learn how!

What's your birthstone? Leave it in a comment below!

You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!

Fridail: American as Apple Pie!

Today I bring to you a new red polish, and it is definitely at the top of my list of all-time polishes! So which polish is it? It's a Nicole by OPI  polish, from the Carrie Underwood  collection, and it's called... American as Apple Pie Dang, it's making me hungry! What an adorable name though, I love it!
