The Polish Book!

Hey everyone!

So a couple of weeks back I did something a little crazy, though totally fun... I swatched all my polishes into a book for easy pickings!

Behold... the Polish book!

I separated the polishes by brand (and may make another ordered by colour hehe) and added their names and little codes on next to the swatches. Because whyyyy not!

So far it's made choosing which polish to use a lot easier, and I'm even trying to work through it and use each and every single polish there, so wish me luck and keep an eye peeled!

Do you have any sort of polish-organising system? Let me know in a comment below!

Have a great week, I'll catch you later!

  1. Great idea! I started using swatch sticks but they got unmanageable after a while - this looks like a much better option. Would you use two books - one for makes and one for colours? I feel a shopping trip coming on!

    1. Swatching sticks sounded like a pain in the butt and more expensive when I considered it, though they do look cooler! I'm definitely considering doing another one by colour yes :D
Make sure the pages are thick enough on the book you buy so the polishes don't sink through! :) Have fun doing it too! ^^

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
