Fridail: Glossybox No. 3!

Hey everyone!
Well this is the first 'proper' post there's been in just over a week! Where did the time go?

Anyway, today I have my third Glossybox to share with you! This month's was a bit of an odd one I think, all of the items seemed to be quite small (which is fine cause quality over quantity of course!), but they also just seemed a little random. Let's dive in!

I guess one of the other things about this box is that it doesn't have a theme, whereas the other ones were styled particularly. The box was also back to it's plain old pink self (yawn- I didn't bother taking a pic of it, it's nothing special!)

Onto the items then- first of all the "set" item that everyone received this month was Lollipops Make-Up Eye Pencil.
First of all, the packaging of this is absolutely adorable! As you can see in the top photo, it has this cute leopard print-like pattern, and it also reads "Close your eyes... Go dancing!" which is just the best way of saying "Who cares!" ever.
It has quite a crayon-like texture, but from the little heart I drew onto my hand, it has darn good staying power, though I drew a line too, and then smudged it with my finger which softened the line even more. Though I must say, I'm not a fan of a smugdy line unless I have some mega shadow-works going on! Also, it's a retractable liner (or as I like to call them- "twisty"), which I don't really like, but oh well.
This item is €14 and available from Lollipop's adorable website.

Next up we have Burt's Bees Lip Shine in the shade "Pucker", which has 100% natural ingredients! So this product is a lipgloss, as you can probably tell, and it's a nice deep pinky colour, though all it really does it taste nice and adds a nice shine to your lips. It has that slight buzzy thing you get in lip plumpers too, though it isn't overpowering. Other comment to make include that it feels kinda sticky, but not in an omg-my-hair way, it's more of a sticky, waxy coating protecting your lips... I can't quite decide how I feel about it- but it supports the conservation of bees, which is only a plus!
This product is £6.99 and can be found at Burt's Bees website!

This little beauty is H2O+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment, and may just be one of my Winter-life-savers! It's generally to be used on dry skin, but it's simply an oil-free moisturising gel, so it won't do your face any harm if you want to use it anyway. In the Winter my skin usually gets a bit dried out and slightly flakey with the lovely cold weather of England (though I get to escape it for 10 days over the New Year- yay!), so this really will be amazing. You don't have to do much either- just slap it on and then massage in any excess after 5 minutes- pure bliss!
The full-size of this product is £27.50 (for 50ml) and can be found at Marks and Spencers!

Quite the opposite to the oil-free moisturising treatment, we have a Monu Skincare Soothing Hawaii Facial Oil... which does more or less the same thing. It's basically supposed to "soften, comfort and restore healthy skin" and it smells... interesting. It contains Cardamom, Sandalwood and Lavender (yay, stinky things!) but if you like the sound of that, you can catch a bottle for yourself for £26 (100ml) at Monu's website.

The final product of the box is listed as "2True Pro Sparkles Glitter Nail Polish" except... it's not a polish... it's just a pot of glitter. That was a little disappointing, but hey, who doesn't love a bit of glitter! It's perfect for the Christmas season too, so I'm sure I'll use this on my nails at some point!
This is £4 a pot, and can be found at Superdrug.

Summary
This box then... Definitely an interesting one, though I guess they're all items I can use, which is always a bonus. Generally a good box!
Box value: £34.29 - still worth more than I'm technically paying per box/month, but not the most valuable box I've had yet. Hey, I'm not complaining though! :)

Well then- thank you for reading, I shall catch you again at the weekend (yup, the weekend!). I've missed so many posts that I now have loads of stuff to cram into a small time period, so I'm gonna do at least one post over the weekend!
Just remember to keep your eyes peeled on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and you can also now sign up to get emails for whenever I post! Just check the sidebar on the right there (non-mobile site only).
See you soon!

The Random Sunday Post!

Hello everyone! This is a super quick random post just to say I'm back and also what will be coming up this week! So, I'm still due a Blue Nails post for the British Nail Blogger's Colour Me Crazy Challenge- this will be up tomorrow instead of a Book/Lifestyle post! From Wednesday, the normal posts will resume, so you can expect a Pink Mani on this day for this week's challenge nails! Then on Thursday, it's A Level results day, which means a lot of nervous stressy things to sort out, and I may not have time to write up a post in time for Friday- but I will definitely try, and also update you all in my potential University place! If there is a post on Friday, it'll be a typical naily post- probably a swatch of something! And that is all I think you need to know! Good Luck to anyone else getting results on Thursday! ~Rachel

Mail: Messy Mani

Hello! Let it be known that from this day forth, any nail posts posted on Mondays shall be known as "Mail's". Yay! For the first "Mail" post, I'm going to be sharing one of my new purchases with you... Model's Own's "Erase" Corrector Pen! I feel like this could be a major turning point in my blog's image quality, as I no longer have an excuse for messy mani's.  Though I'd first like to point out that I feel like I have come quite far since the beginning of my blog, and no longer post images such as this... I mean, just look at that thumb!? (Polish is Barry M Spring Green) ...Except for today, I'm posting a very (purposefully) messy mani, to show you how the corrector pen can work! Also please keep in mind that I actually did this mani pretty much in the dark, around midnight the other day. :D I quite enjoyed being super careless with my painting, actually. Is that wrong of me? Also, you m

Wail: Birthday Blue!

Hi everyone! So it was my 18th birthday yesterday, hence why this post is a little late! But I have a fun post for you all to enjoy :) Introducing to you- my birthday mani! I love love love these polishes- I think I've only used them once each, but wow, they're just amazing and I definitely need to use them more. Apologies for the little bit of tip-wear, it's been on since Saturday (so, 5 days between application and the picture taking!) so the wear on these polishes is actually very good! The first polish is Rimmel London's Salon Pro by Kate, in the shade "Britpop" which is such a fun name! The colour is also absolutely stunning, it's such a rich blue, but is kinda bright at the same time and a borderline dark teal colour. The brush for application is also pretty wide, which makes coverage super easy in only one to two strokes! There's another bonus too- the polish is very shiny even before a top coat! Totally recommend this polish, a
