Orly Turquoise Color Flip!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week! :)

Today's post is introducing you to a pretty new blue polish I bought last week- Orly's "Turquoise Color Flip"

Beginning true to its name, the shade of blue is definitely that of a turquoise shade!

The first 3 images shown are taken with the flash on- and as you can see, there's a pretty little shimmer in the blue polish, which reminds me a lot of one of Avon's turquoise shimmery polishes!

It was a pretty opaque polish too, taking only two coats in comparison to some shimmers which can take three coats of polish! The effect the shimmer had too was definitely beautiful.

Though, I'm not sure I'd call it a "color flip" polish, as that (to me, anyway) is implying that the polish is a duo or multi-chrome polish where more than one colour can clearly be seen. All I can see is this one shade of blue and some pretty little shimmers!

That being said though, these two 'daylight' (as in, rainy Manchester daylight through a window) images show just how beautiful the polish can be, as it has an almost sophisticated vibe to it, yet it's a fun colour to wear too!

So, yup! That is also my first ever Orly polish, and I'm very impressed and glad that it was this colour.
That's all I have for you today, too! I'll catch you all on Monday when I have another BornPrettyStore item review for you to take a peek at!

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
