Fridail: Here's Jade!

Today, I bring Jade to you! She's got a beautiful mani to show you today, so here it is!
---------------
Hello, I am Jade from Life in Lacquer. Thanks Rachel for having me today!

I have a marbled negative space mani to show you today, doesn't that sound.... interesting LOL.
And I get to showcase my first ever picture tutorial collage!

I used a black striper to create the design on the pinky and index finger. I find straight lines quite easy as I mark them out with little dots before I do them. I was always told look at where the line is going not where it is!

The studs are from the Born Pretty Store.

Okay and here's a little Pictorial of the marble type nails.
CLEAN UP IS A DRAG on this one so I suggest using PVA glue to cover around your sidewalls and cuticle, wait for it to go see through then proceed. It can then be peeled off taking the messy polish with it :)

I hope the pic is pretty self explanatory!
BUT basically you dot some polish on a plastic bag (or something else non absorbent)
Mix it up with a dotting tool
Pick it up on a nail stamper tool
Repeatedly stamp in over your nail. I recommend a white base coat on the nail first. (the polish on the stamper stays wet for a while so you can stamp more than once)
Clean up and topcoat!

I used Essie Butler Please and Moyra 87 for the marble.

What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed this and If you want to see more of my nail art then please join me on Facebook, Instagram or my blog :)

Oh wow, I love these! I never would have thought about using a stamper tool for things like this, I can't wait to try it!
And some very exciting news now.... I have no more exams! *parties*
So this means that you have to say your goodbyes to all these lovely guest posters, and you're stuck with me again- 3 times a week (if not possibly more). I apologise in advance hehe!
I will see you all on Monday then! And thanks for checking out everything while I've been busy- make sure you also check out Jade's Facebook, Instagram and blog! :D
Bye for now!

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

OPI Liquid Sand "What Wizardry Is This?"

Now this polish has been mentioned a few times around here, very vaguely- but every time I have it on I always have people saying how much they adore it- and it's THE colour for anytime of the year, let me show you why! So, to start with, OPI's Liquid Sand's are very very very nice textured polishes, usually with a lot of sparkle, shimmer or just general amazingness. The two I currently own myself are "What Wizardry Is This?" which is what's being covered in this post, and one from the Whitney Houston collection called "What's Your Number?" which I can cover if anybody wants it to be :)
