Mail: Models Own "Asscher Blue"

Sorry the post's a bit late- life is just so distracting!

Anyway, today I have one of the polishes I bought last weekend to show you! And a cool new technique I just learnt thanks to Nailsxo! :)

Today's polish is... Models Own's Diamond Luxe "Asscher Blue"



So, this polish is a very pretty, kinda bright but not in-your-face sky blue that has a gentle shimmer running through it as they contain "real diamond dust" (not bad for a fiver!).


Application is smooth and simple, especially with Models Own's typical wide-ish brush that means you only need two/three strokes per nail. It really is a stunning blue polish, and would be a pretty awesome addition to your collection, especially in time for Winter and Spring!

And this brings us nicely to a new technique! I saw this on a facebook post by "Emily Nailsxo", but she's got a tutorial post on how to do this- and here's the link! 


It's a pretty cool effect, and not too hard to do either- plus you only need a polish and a stick really. And something like clingfilm to put polish onto. But it looks awesome and feels really fun, and is totally, totally worth it. 


The polish I used to "spin" is Barry M's new Silk "Forest" which is a gorgeous colour that I'll be swatching probably for Wednesday!

      Thank you! :D It's a lovely colour, kinda reminds me of their Gel "Blue Glint" actually! I'm such a sucker for blues haha x
