3D-Look Water Decals!*

*This post contains an item which was supplied by BornPrettyStore in return for an honest review. In this post, the item is the water decals!

Hello dears!
Today's post is the last of the items that were sent to me to review by Born Pretty Store- and I'm giving it to you a couple of days early so I can maybe sneak an extra post or two in somewhere!

And that item, is these cute water decals!

To begin with, when I received these, I was actually a little disappointed with how they looked in person, but honestly as soon as they were on my nails, my opinion flipped!

As you can see, the decals come in 2 patterns on the sheet, one a golden colour and one a silvery shade, both of which have the highlight pattern with the gems on.

Both patterns are really nice, and they work especially well with the curve of your nails, as they have a 3D-like appearance with shading and highlighting, which just adds to their awesomeness!

The detail that's been put into the design itself is also pretty amazing- just look at this marble-like look on the 'gem' nail! The only bad thing about the gem nails though, is that the gem is generally near the tip of the design, and my nails weren't long enough to catch it without some fiddly cutting down of the design (boo!), but seriously, I can live with that!

Application was also super easy to do as they're water decals and not sticky-backed nail strips. Water decals are basically "temporary tattoos" for your nails (like those you used to get as kids in magazines and sweet-packets), so all you have to do is peel off the plastic front, submerge the decal in water, wet your nail and then slide the design onto it. As both your nail and the design is wet, you can easily slide it around, then all you have to do it pat it dry with a tissue/kitchen roll, and let it air dry or speed-dry it with a hair dryer, and seal it in with a clear top coat! Simples, and a lot less hassle than sticky nail strips that you can't move around!

In conclusion then, very impressed with this product! You can grab them yourself from Born Pretty's Water Decal section along with many, many other designs!
If you think you'd prefer the more traditional nail wraps, you're in luck and can also grab those from right here!

Although Born Pretty's prices are already amazing, you can also grab an extra 10% off any full-priced stock using the code: REEG10
Don't forget it's free delivery too!

I'd love to know what you think of these decals yourself, so don't forget to leave a comment below!

The Random Sunday Post!

Hello everyone! This is a super quick random post just to say I'm back and also what will be coming up this week! So, I'm still due a Blue Nails post for the British Nail Blogger's Colour Me Crazy Challenge- this will be up tomorrow instead of a Book/Lifestyle post! From Wednesday, the normal posts will resume, so you can expect a Pink Mani on this day for this week's challenge nails! Then on Thursday, it's A Level results day, which means a lot of nervous stressy things to sort out, and I may not have time to write up a post in time for Friday- but I will definitely try, and also update you all in my potential University place! If there is a post on Friday, it'll be a typical naily post- probably a swatch of something! And that is all I think you need to know! Good Luck to anyone else getting results on Thursday! ~Rachel

Mail: Messy Mani

Hello! Let it be known that from this day forth, any nail posts posted on Mondays shall be known as "Mail's". Yay! For the first "Mail" post, I'm going to be sharing one of my new purchases with you... Model's Own's "Erase" Corrector Pen! I feel like this could be a major turning point in my blog's image quality, as I no longer have an excuse for messy mani's.  Though I'd first like to point out that I feel like I have come quite far since the beginning of my blog, and no longer post images such as this... I mean, just look at that thumb!? (Polish is Barry M Spring Green) ...Except for today, I'm posting a very (purposefully) messy mani, to show you how the corrector pen can work! Also please keep in mind that I actually did this mani pretty much in the dark, around midnight the other day. :D I quite enjoyed being super careless with my painting, actually. Is that wrong of me? Also, you m

Wail: Birthday Blue!

Hi everyone! So it was my 18th birthday yesterday, hence why this post is a little late! But I have a fun post for you all to enjoy :) Introducing to you- my birthday mani! I love love love these polishes- I think I've only used them once each, but wow, they're just amazing and I definitely need to use them more. Apologies for the little bit of tip-wear, it's been on since Saturday (so, 5 days between application and the picture taking!) so the wear on these polishes is actually very good! The first polish is Rimmel London's Salon Pro by Kate, in the shade "Britpop" which is such a fun name! The colour is also absolutely stunning, it's such a rich blue, but is kinda bright at the same time and a borderline dark teal colour. The brush for application is also pretty wide, which makes coverage super easy in only one to two strokes! There's another bonus too- the polish is very shiny even before a top coat! Totally recommend this polish, a
