Shades: Pastel

For today's topic of pastel I have used yet another two Barry M polishes, that are both fairly recent-ish. The main one used here is the Textured Nail Paint in "Ridley Road" which is a pale blue-mint colour. It's a really super pretty colour, and the texture is pretty interesting! It's one of those polishes that's been in my drawer for a little while and I'm like, hmm, should I use it, should I not and it's just been pushed back!

Now the other polish I used was kind of for a little experiment, I wanted to see how easily it would go on over the textured polish. The result was pretty dang good! It went on really easily, as if the base polish was just normal :) Anyway, this polish is Barry M's Confetti Nail Effects in Bubblegum. It's a new type of polish they brought out, and I just happened to be in Superdrug when they were stocking the shelves when they first got them (coincidence-I think not!) so I was super chuffed! I really love the blues in it though, they're not exactly 'pastel' like the topic describes, but ah well, I wanted a highlight! :D
Enjoy~

Guess what! These are actually pretty easy to remove too! Who would've guessed it?

What would you do for Pastel Nails?

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome.
