Wail: Vicky's Back!

Hi everybody! Today I return Vicky to you all with another awesome post!
Hope you're all well and having a great week ^^
------------------------------
Hello everyone! It’s Vicky from Vicky Loves Nails back with my second guest post for Rachel whilst she is doing her exams (I hope they have been going well!)

I’ve been using my fan brush quite a lot recently in nail art, so I decided to show you one of the manicure’s I have created using that today. Up until about a month ago I had never used my fan brush, but since trying it I have loved it and I’ve been using it loads.. I don’t know why it took me so long to try it!

For this design I used a base colour of Nails Inc – Holland Park Gardens and used an unnamed Color Club for the fan brush gradient. I decided to combine it with one of my other favourite techniques; the glitter gradient. The glitter I used was Next Nail – Night Fever.

I really loved how these came out; they sort of remind me of dewy grass as the glitter makes it glisten. They were so easy to create too!

Thanks again Rachel for having me on your blog and I hope you all enjoyed my post.

Thank you Vicky! Once again, I adore those colours! And I never even thought about using a fan brush in that way- what a great idea! I'm going to have to try it some time.
Don't forget to go and check out Vicky's blog (link at the top!) and have a great couple of days before you check back here on Friday!
Thanks for reading,

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
