Flamingo Stamping!

Hey!

So the other week I bought some new stamping plates from MoYou London including their gorgeous flamingo-themed Tropical 16 plate. As an animal-lover I just had to have this so much and I tried it out the day I got it!

For base colours I used two Models Own's Icing Collection polishes- Peach Icing and Mint Icing. These generally dry to a semi-matte finish but since I top-coated the whole thing they went pretty shiny!

Over the top I stamped in a green konad stamping polish and Rimmel's Rita Ora Tangerine Tent. And I really love the combination of colours too, as well as how crisply they stamped.

And so, I love this plate as flamingos are just fabulous and awesome and my life is now complete with flamingos on my nails.
I hope you like the designs as much as I do, and I'll catch you later on this week. :)

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!

Meadow and Tree Nails

These nails are definitely one for any time of year- make them spooky for halloween with a dark and red background with creepy spiny black trees, or use icy blues and white colours with a bit of silver shimmer to represent a snowy Winter scene, or even soft pastel blues and a golden sun with lush green grass and fully bloomed trees during the Spring and Summer seasons- it's entirely up to you! Here's a quick little tutorial on how to do them ^^
