4th of July Nails!

Hello!

I hope you all had a great weekend. As you know it was the 4th of July (American Independence Day) on Saturday, and so nails were done to commemorate the occasion.

As sad as it may sound, I have had these water decals for a good few months now, and was totally saving them especially for the 4th of July! I grabbed them from Born Pretty Store for around £1 I think (it was so long ago now I can't remember).

I love how they turned out anyway, placed over two coats of Nicole by OPI's "I Shop Mintage" pastel green polish. I struggled with placing them a little as I wanted the lines to be perfect from edge-to-edge but they just didn't quite reach too well.

Apart from that minor hiccup I completely love this design and look forward to using the other 3 strips of it! :)

If you celebrated at the weekend I hope you had a great time, and I hope you love these decals as much as I do!

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
