Nails Inc: Bruton Lane

Hey everyone!

Today I have another swatch from Nails Inc for you, and it's a polish I think I've had in my stash for like... forever. Bruton Lane is its name and at some point, as the sticker on its lid is telling me anyway, it was a "trend shade".

You could argue that it still is a trend shade, and it definitely suits the sunny Summer weather we've been getting recently as it's a cute little peachy shade.

I feel like it leans towards the more orange side of the peach spectrum, but it has the perfect balance between pastel and bright. It also has a nice shiny finish, and is pictured here with 2 coats of polish, though could've probably used a third.

Anyway, it's a super cute colour and I'll probably try to make the most of it this Summer!

Since it's now an 'old' Nails Inc colour, I can't find it anywhere to link you to it online, however, it's quite a similar shade to Barry M's Gelly Papaya, which I would totally recommend as an alternative and can be found in Superdrug and Boots for only £3.99!

I'm off to America at the weekend but sneaked in a couple of posts to appear next week and will try to keep you all updated over the next couple of weeks, too. Hope you have a good weekend, catch ya laters!

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
