Duchess: Barry M Textured Royalty Review

Barry M Royal Textured Glitter Collection Posts

I'm gonna be doing (more or less) a post a day with a full-hand swatch of each of these colours :) After these are all done, I'll move onto the Mattes and probably combine a few of the polishes together in my own little mixy-matchy style ;) Enjoy!

Nude Duchess
So, this polish I wasn't really planning on being a fan of. Well, guess what? I am.
The formula is 100% awesome.
The removal is 100% easier than you'd expect from a glittery polish.
The colour is just 500% gorgeous. And this is coming from a girl who absolutely despises nude colours.
In words, the colour is a beautiful beige-nude with pink undertones that kind of reminds me of sand when you're walking up to the beach (minus the slightly fleshy-pink...). It's definitely sparkly, and the glitter reflects so gorgeously- it's like a work of art in a bottle.
Just look at it!

If you want a more opaque look on your nails, one coat is good enough.

Want the full monty? Two coats will definitely cover it.

^All Daytime^

As you can see, some lightings make the polish look slightly more pinky or slightly more brown, and some reflect the glitter as gold and others as silver. It's the perfect 'natural' shade for Autumn though, as you can see the golden shimmer and pink tones during the day when the sun is out (if we get any sun, this is England after all...) and then during the night you'll be able to see the silver tones under false lighting and a slightly more golden-beige colour. Perfection in a bottle my dears!

On my ring fingernail I've use Barry M's Superdrug Limited Edition 'F'. It's pretty much one of their confetti polishes but using metallic bronze and gold strips instead of pastel-coloured strips. It's so pretty, and I admit, this is definitely not the polish you want to use it on top of if you want it to be seen. But I was just so excited to use it!
It comes off nicely too-not too much scrubbing-messiness!

So pretty!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Keep an eye out for tomorrow, when 'Lady' will be covered! :D
Thanks for reading, see you later! :)

The Random Sunday Post!

Hello everyone! This is a super quick random post just to say I'm back and also what will be coming up this week! So, I'm still due a Blue Nails post for the British Nail Blogger's Colour Me Crazy Challenge- this will be up tomorrow instead of a Book/Lifestyle post! From Wednesday, the normal posts will resume, so you can expect a Pink Mani on this day for this week's challenge nails! Then on Thursday, it's A Level results day, which means a lot of nervous stressy things to sort out, and I may not have time to write up a post in time for Friday- but I will definitely try, and also update you all in my potential University place! If there is a post on Friday, it'll be a typical naily post- probably a swatch of something! And that is all I think you need to know! Good Luck to anyone else getting results on Thursday! ~Rachel

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

Wail: Birthday Blue!

Hi everyone! So it was my 18th birthday yesterday, hence why this post is a little late! But I have a fun post for you all to enjoy :) Introducing to you- my birthday mani! I love love love these polishes- I think I've only used them once each, but wow, they're just amazing and I definitely need to use them more. Apologies for the little bit of tip-wear, it's been on since Saturday (so, 5 days between application and the picture taking!) so the wear on these polishes is actually very good! The first polish is Rimmel London's Salon Pro by Kate, in the shade "Britpop" which is such a fun name! The colour is also absolutely stunning, it's such a rich blue, but is kinda bright at the same time and a borderline dark teal colour. The brush for application is also pretty wide, which makes coverage super easy in only one to two strokes! There's another bonus too- the polish is very shiny even before a top coat! Totally recommend this polish, a
