How to: Glitter Gradient

Welcome to... How to: Glitter Gradient!

You will need:
*A clear coat
*A coloured coat (*optional*)
*A good-quality glitter polish

1. Prepare your nails by painting them with the clear coat first. Add the coloured polish too, if you want to! :)
2. Paint over the full nail using the glitter polish. But only use one coat! It should look quite sparce, like this!

3. Starting from further down the nail (closer to you), add another coat of glitter.
4. Starting from very close to the tip of your nail, add one more coat of glitter!
And ta-da! Glitter gradient! M'wah!

So, a few tips are in order here!
Top Tip 1: Build it up slowly! There's no point in starting with a nail full of glitter!
Top Tip 2: Get a decent glitter polish! You'll need one that doesn't clump but spreads quite easily, and that also doesn't cover too quickly, otherwise you won't be able to get the gradual build up :)
And I think that's all for now! If I think of anymore tips, then I shall add them on! And I shall also get some more examples up some time!

If you have any questions on glitter gradients, or anything else for that matter, feel free to leave a tweet @Nail_Parade, email me at rachel@nailparade.co.uk , or leave a comment below :) Thanks!

Spotted Water Marble!

Hey everyone! :) Today's post is a water marble... with a twist! Instead of a typical swirly marble, this is more of a marble-overlay, with as base colour underneath.
