Shades: Bejewelled

This shade ended up being rather unusual for me, simply for the reason that my nails look really super girly! Pink *and* sparkles, what's going on? :O

Before the sparkles!

I must say, I love love love these Rimmel London Salon Pro (with Lycra) by Kate polishes! The brushes are amazing! That image there? I haven't cleared anything away from the side, or base, of my nails! Compare this to any other images I've put on where I haven't cleared away, and you'll see what I mean.
(To help, here's a quick image!)
Messy messy messy! It's all up my finger (nearl...I mean...) nail-y! ;)
The polish really does last for ages too, in comparison! I had it on around 3 days (without a top-coat) before I added the gems (because I'm always so tempted just to pick them off, and then it wrecks everything!), so as you can see, there is very very little wear and tear on them-which is great! :D And also consider that I'd been at cubs and scouts for two of those days, so playing games and shelter building and such! It's pretty amazing!

Anyway, that pink you see is called Cocktail Passion and yes... it's pink!? It's a cute little princess pink too though hehe, wait til you see the gems, I felt like I had princess nails!
Okay, here's the gemmy gem-gems! And I shall make a post to follow this one explaining how to stick gems onto your nails easily and so they can be removed fairly easily too! :D

Hope you enjoyed this, there's more pink coming up soon! (Wow, this really is not like me!)

Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
