Fridail: Maybelline Ocean Blue!

Happy Friday everybody! :)

Today I bring to you a polish that I've had for ages, yet hadn't tried! (I'm sure we all have a big list of those somewhere...) Introducing...
Maybelline Color Show in the shade "Ocean Blue!'








It's a super pretty royal blue with a hint of shimmer and metallic properties. It really is the nicest (darker) shade of blue I have found in a long time- I loved it within seconds of putting it on my nails! I really wouldn't count it as an "ocean blue" colour though... More of a... bright royal blue.
Here's some pics with the flash on too so you can see the shimmer a little better.






This polish was pretty opaque with two coats, but I used 3, just to see how much shimmer I could get out of it. It is genuinely a beautiful polish though that can go with pretty much any outfit. 
One of my friends also owns this though, and said "it chips like crazy" and I had mine on for around 3 days and it got a little chip by the end of the 2nd day so I'm thinking she could be right! But it all depends on the top coat you use too, so don't just take our word for it :)

Either way, if you're looking for a stunning blue polish, this is definitely a must, and for only £2.99 from Boots or Superdrug, why not!? ^^

Cute Hearts| Breast Cancer Awareness Week

Hello! Serious topic this week, over the next 5 days, I'll be posting 5 different designs each containing a pink feature to try and raise awareness for Breast Cancer. In each post I'll include a tutorial, and a 'how you can raise awareness'. How You Can Raise Awareness Today's is so simple, all you have to do is wear a pink ribbon! Plus it's actually the first design I've thought of 100% on my own :D All you need to complete this design is 3 nail polishes! Ta-Daa!
