Wail: Easter Nails!

Happy Wednesday! :)
So, it's Easter this weekend, and the weather's been pretty lovely up here so I thought I'd share some bright and colourful nails with you all! Plus, I bought some new batteries the other day and my camera seems to like them so far, so I have better pictures for you all again- yay!

I'm also afraid that my nails are looking a little bit shabby- they'd been worn for about 5 days when I photographed them (I didn't plan on doing a post of them to be honest!), so my apologies for that!

Pretty fitting for the colourful Easter-egg time of year, aren't they? :)
I started off by painting two base coats of yellow polish- Rimmel London Sunshine- before adding a layer of 'cloud' in each colour.
There's a tutorial on it right here, by YouTuber MissJenFabulous:

My chosen polishes (and their general prices) are as follows!
Rimmel London- Sunshine- £2.99
A bright and cheerful yellow- perfect for the Summer, and easily opaque in two to three coats.

Barry M Gelly: Passionfruit- £3.99
A bright and beautiful pink shade with a hint of an orange tone, just like the inside of a passionfruit! Wonderful compliment to a neutral outfit.

Rimmel London: Sky High- £3.69
A delicate teal blue with a lot of potential for any manicure, it compliments and contrasts many other colours and is a shade which is perfect for any time of year.

Barry M Gelly: Papaya- £3.99
A subtle yet bright peach-toned polish, Papaya is a beautiful colour that will compliment many shades of cream, pink, orange, brown, beige and general neutral tones. Great holiday-in-the-sun colour!

Nails Inc: Westbourne Park (Hologram Polish)- £5 on nailsinc.com
Westbourne Park is a great silver-hologram polish that can literally shine every colour of the rainbow. It's perfect for anything, but especially parties!

So let me know that you think of this mani in the comments below, or via some form of social media!
Also let me know if you try it yourself- I want to see some pictures! :D

That's all for now, see you in a couple of days!

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
