Mail: Models Own "Asscher Blue"

Hey guys!
Sorry the post's a bit late- life is just so distracting!

Anyway, today I have one of the polishes I bought last weekend to show you! And a cool new technique I just learnt thanks to Nailsxo! :)

Today's polish is... Models Own's Diamond Luxe "Asscher Blue"

So, this polish is a very pretty, kinda bright but not in-your-face sky blue that has a gentle shimmer running through it as they contain "real diamond dust" (not bad for a fiver!).

Application is smooth and simple, especially with Models Own's typical wide-ish brush that means you only need two/three strokes per nail. It really is a stunning blue polish, and would be a pretty awesome addition to your collection, especially in time for Winter and Spring!
You can pick one up in Superdrug or ModelsOwnIt.com for £4.99!

And this brings us nicely to a new technique! I saw this on a facebook post by "Emily Nailsxo", but she's got a tutorial post on how to do this- and here's the link

It's a pretty cool effect, and not too hard to do either- plus you only need a polish and a stick really. And something like clingfilm to put polish onto. But it looks awesome and feels really fun, and is totally, totally worth it.

The polish I used to "spin" is Barry M's new Silk "Forest" which is a gorgeous colour that I'll be swatching probably for Wednesday!

And that's it folks, I'll be back tomorrow since I've been nominated for a Liebster award again (yay!) so I'll be answering those questions!

Cute Hearts| Breast Cancer Awareness Week

Hello! Serious topic this week, over the next 5 days, I'll be posting 5 different designs each containing a pink feature to try and raise awareness for Breast Cancer. In each post I'll include a tutorial, and a 'how you can raise awareness'. How You Can Raise Awareness Today's is so simple, all you have to do is wear a pink ribbon! Wearing the pink ribbon shows that you're supporting Breast Cancer Care, and it doesn't matter how you wear it! Monday's Design: Cute Hearts! Today's design is super easy to do, and looks so cute! Plus it's actually the first design I've thought of 100% on my own :D All you need to complete this design is 3 nail polishes! Ta-Daa!

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!

Wail: Models Own Hypergel "Blue Glint"

Hello hello, good day to you! :) Welcome to the first ever on-purpose Wednesday Nail post! Freshly nicknamed as... The Wail ! Today's Wail features Models Own's Hypergel in the shade "Blue Glint" ! For those of you who don't know, the Hypergel polishes are fairly new polishes by Models Own, being released in February 2014, and they're polishes which produce a 'Gel' effect... Without the use of UV lamps. (Kinda similar to the Barry M Gelly's, but we'll get onto that in a sec) The colour I went for initially was Red Lustre  but I lucked out by a couple of minutes and it had sold out on the Models Own site just  before I went to buy it. *sniffles* So, instead, I went for the blue, cause you can never have too many blues!
