Fridail: Barry M "Rockstar"

Hey everyone!
Today I gave another of Barry M's Glitterati polishes- you know, the ones that are super duper sparkly!
It's also the last post with my nails as this shape for a while, since I snapped my pinkie nail and had to trim them all down. Sad times! :(

Anyway, Rockstar is the darkest polish of the collection, and also probably the most interesting. It has a slightly translucent grey gel-like base, with a whole load of different glitter colours thrown in. All images are with two coats of polish, and the next two are taken with the flash on.

As you can see, they still have pretty good reflective properties, and also have the smooth finish that all of the Glitterati polishes appear to have!

The glitter colours which can be seen are primarily greens, blues and reds, though there's the occasional flicker of yellow/gold and purple sparkles to be spotted! It's reminding me of when you see videos of catwalks and red carpets, where there are loads of paparazzi taking pics on the film. Definitely rockstar worthy!

Just like the past two Glitterati's, this one was also a little bit of a pain to remove, but considering the density of the glitter, it's definitely not as bad as it could be, and it is most definitely worth it.

And that's that! I hope you liked this polish- let me know what you think of it in the comments below!
You can find Barry M's Glitterati polishes at Boots, Superdrug, and BarryM.com for £3.99 per bottle.
See you on Sunday for the reveal of the Blogiversary giveaway! Who's excited? (I am!) :)

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
