Bonjour!

Bonjour everyone!

Today's post is a liiiiiittle bit late due to a university assignment, but the others are all going to be late this week too so don't worry about it.

For today anyway I have a cute slightly-Spring, slightly-Winter mani for you with a feature of the Eiffel Tower thanks to a cute little water decal I received oh-so-long-ago during Christmas.

For a base colour, I used a polish I received in an order the other week of a pale green-blue- Nicole by OPI's "I Shop Mintage". It's a perfect colour for spring!
I then added the water decal of the cute little Eiffel Tower, before adding on a sparkly blue polish- Nicole by OPI's "Blue-berry Sweet On You" from their gumdrops range. This forms a little base for the tower to stand on and also creates a cute little icy/frosted stand.

My ring nail was a different matter and I used a polish that I'd kept hidden away for a month or so- plus- it's an indie polish! A holographic indie polish for that matter! :D It's called "Descendants of Salem" by Freckles Polish.
I added some spots in the formation of a flower-like explosion to highlight this nail slightly, though they didn't show up as well as I'd expected.

And there you have it! I hope you like this mani, I think it's definitely one of my favourites!
I've updated the nail polish list recently too, so all my newer polishes are finally up on there.
Keep your eyes peeled this week for a House Targaryen mani and also a swatchy swatch swatch!

See you later, hope your week is going well!

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
