Wail: Prom Nails!

Hey everyone!
So it was my sixth-form prom the other Saturday (the 28th of June!) and we all know how much nails add to an outfit, so today I'm sharing mine!

My dress and shoes were a bright coral colour- a very similar shade to that nail polish in the photo, and I completed my outfit with some gold jewellery.

So in light of this- I did a set of water marble nails for myself, which turned out rather well if I dare say so myself. You can find my tutorial for water marbling here! :)

The polishes I used are Rimmel "Cocktail Passion" which is the peachy/coral colour, Barry M "Mediterranean" which is the slightly metallic/shimmery pink you can see a few flecks of, and Nails Inc "Lanesborough Place" which is the gold.

I really loved this mani and all of it's shimmery-shiny-metallic ness, so that's why there's a lot of pictures. Sorry about that!

I'd love to hear what you think of my nails, too, so don't be a stranger and leave a note in the comments below!
Thank you for reading!

    1. I didn't have time to change them, so they were still my prom nails from the Saturday.

Your Guide to Barry M Gelly's!

Finally , the time has come for the ever-promised "Barry M Gelly Polishes Review & Swatch" Post! YAY! Now, now, settle down, settle down, and prepare yourself for an image-heavy post! Panorama View? Yes please... Okay, so that picture isn't too great. But there's the colours that between us (Me and Rhian) have in the Gelly range. We're only missing "Grapefruit" I think...

How To: Gradient Nails

Gradient nails are a great way to ensure that your mani matches your outfit over a set period of days (depending on how many colours you use), and it also just looks pretty dang awesome. You've seen a few of my own mani's where gradients have been used (these ones below, in example), especially those in more recent posts! So a tutorial is definitely long overdue- I hope you find it useful!
